Birth control 😤

So I recently started taking birth control again. I took it right after my daughter was born which was last year in August. I stopped, and wanted to start again, just because maybe I thought I was crazy lol. So I’ve been having dizziness, horrible nightmares and hot flashes, and everything makes me anxious, (this is why I stopped and why I thought I was crazy) Are these side effects of the pill? if not so I can get checked out. Or if it is what should I do 😑
