13 month old fell off crib

it was his nap time but he didn't want to be put in the crib for some reason but also kept crying when I hold him. his eyes were already closing due to sleepiness but he still kept crying. I left him for a bit to clean his mess before trying again to put him back to sleep. he's been crying for an hour. when I left him, he climbed out of his crib. I don't know how he fell. he was standing when I ran inside the room. this is only the second time I "left" him crying. I tried the cry it out method before and I could not take it. today I thought i can leave him in his crib for a bit since he doesn't even stop crying even when I am carrying him and then this happens.

my question is that he is so tired after all the ruckus and he's been crying even before he fell that I am not sure if he is still crying because of whatever reason he was crying before he fell and also if he is just sleepy because he was already sleepy before that because it is his nap time or he is sleepy because of the fall.

what do I do? he is sleeping now.
