AF isn't scheduled to arrive until the 27th and I very rarely start early, sometimes a day or two late actually. Since the beginning of last week, I've had random bouts of heartburn which I never get, and my nipples have been a little tender. My SO and I had sex the day before I ovulated and a few times since in my fertile week.

So last friday I make a visit to the work bathroom and see some spotting when I wipe. Just the one time, nothing after I got home. AF (or hopefully an imposter?) came two days ago, but the flow is super light, no cramps and it's already that brownish color. I usually get really heavy periods for the first two days and horrible cramps, and my periods always last 4-5 days so this is unusual for me.

My mom is hopeful and says maybe it's the egg burrowing into the lining. I'm turning 31 on the 7th and I'd really like that bfp but I haven't tested yet, thoughts?
