6week ultrasound can you detect the heartbeat?

I go in Monday for my ultrasound sound but I was curious if they can even detect a heartbeat that early I've always found out my pregnancies way later on so this part is all new to me!

The problem with going in at 6w is not that you may not hear a hb at 6w but rather you may not be 6w. You may be only 5w which then you may not even see anything. Suggest you wait another week. I went in for 7w and it was 6+2 so if I had gone in at 6 I probably wouldveseen nothing and panicked

yup we saw a hb at 6wks 1day

I didn’t hear it but definitely saw it at 6+2 had a HR of 120

I heard my baby’s heart beat at 6w3d through and vaginal ultrasound 🙂

Yup I heard mine at 6 weeks 1 day.
