So today i was diagnosed with gestational hypertension. I’m 38 weeks Friday. My bp has been steadily going up little by little since around 32-33 weeks, high 130s/80s mostly but Friday I was 138/90 and today 152/90. My baseline before pregnancy was usually high 120s/80s so I figured (until today) that the increase was just due to increased stress and added weight in the third trimester but now I’m nervous that I’ll have to be induced if bp is still this high when I go back Wednesday. They put me on bed rest 😒 anyone have any experience with this? Were you induced? Do you think it’s necessary to induce when I’ll be almost 39 weeks by my next appt anyway? Just nervous as this is my first pregnancy 😞
