Eptotic pregnancy?

Has anyone ever had this? Can someone please tell me their symptoms and what happened?

I haven't but a friend did. She was 8 weeks and in severe intense pain on her side, which then lead to bleeding. She had an ovary removed along with the pregnancy but got an infection afterwards so doctors believed her fertility would be compromised, but she now has two beautiful daughters.

Brown discharge at 5 weeks and loss of pregnancy symptoms. My boobs were still slightly tender but other than the fact the hospital was telling me I was pregnant I wouldn’t have believed it. I had no pain or red blood, I had my left tube removed at 6 weeks and 3 days.
