Looks like I’m not finding out my gender in a week :(

My ob is one of 4 OB’s in my area that needs a signature before I can do a 3D ultrasound. I just want to know the gender.

She said no because while I am 15 weeks she wants to do the anatomy scan first. At that point there’s no point to even doing an elective scan because the anatomy scan will tell me the gender. :( I already did a diagnostic test at 12 weeks, the nuchal translucency and everything came back perfect.. this isn’t fair. :(

I’m not switching OB’s.. she’s a good doctor and I get why she’s doing this but it’s just frustrating because I told her I was doing this and she just told me of the risks, she never said she wouldn’t sign off on it.
