How much do ur babies sleep? Mine is literally always sleeping and has eyes open maybe a total of 30 minutes a day

Mine I try to stimulate her to have play time or just talk to her to keep her awake so shes awake for maybe only 2 or so hours a day because I'm trying to make sure she sleeps at night! Mine daughter is 5 days old

I had to ask my doctor if the amount my daughter was sleeping was normal. She is six days old and is probably only up for an hour or two a day MAX. My doctor told me so long as she is eating and having the normal amount of diaper changes a day, the amount she sleeps doesn’t matter. At six days she sound have at least six wet diapers and two poops. 
My husband was so worried about this because to him she is never awake with him.

How old is your baby? Newborns sleep a ton! My guy is 4 weeks and over past couple of weeks has just started to stay up longer stretches.
