When treasured alone time becomes times of loneliness...
What do you do when you’ve always enjoyed your alone time; always thrived when alone: looked forward to catching up with yourself after being surrounded by others and then suddenly that changes. Happiness is momentary; it doesn’t last. Your good friends and family bring you joy, sure. But when you leave them and are alone again; you’re lonely. How do you combat that? This condition is strange to you. It’s upsetting. You write. Writing helps; most of the time. And this helps; sharing on Glow. Ha. But it’s all momentary; you always fall back into your lonely hole. How do you come out of this lonely place? Therapy? Sure. Your work schedule should allow you to schedule a session in a few months. But what do you do until then? You want to be happy. But life keeps dragging you down and some days it easier not to put up a fight; just lay down and take it. I’m tired. I’ll end my ramblings now.
