Tantrums 😫 Terrible Two’s ??

Lol My son is having Tantrums what seems like everyday 😩 He can be happy Ana playing with his sisters next thing you know he has a tantrum!!! He loves to run and play but suddenly he wants me to pick him up instead of him walking !!!  Any mommas put there going through the same thing? I’m not Alone am I?? Lol  Happy Weekend fellow mommy’s and daddy’s!!

We've been going through this for almost 2 months. I have b/g twins and boy is, dare I say, wayyyy worse! Today he brought me a shoes and said "shoe? On?" So I'm like "ok, sit in you chair and I'll put them on!" And MANNNN!!! He ran across the room to his pull out couch, slid into it like home plate and screamed as loud as his little heart could! Everything, even a "hi!" Can set them both off. Everyday it seems to be getting worse and worse. I pulled the play pin back out of storage for a time out spot and started taking toys that they throw.

Mine will tantrum for many reasons. If I try to get him from his nap sometimes he will not let me get him from his crib, keeps laying back down but then cries if I leave the room. Eventually I just pull him out and he loses it. So I just lay him down on the floor somewhere safe and he will go on like that tantruming for sometimes 20 minutes. There’s no reasoning with him, comforting him, offering him a snack or to take a walk either. He won’t stop till he’s ready.

We’ve been struggling through these tantrums, too! My daughter has always been super easy going until about 20-21 months and then began horrible tantrums, especially when waking up from her nap. Nothing seemed to help and she’d cry for upwards of an hour, clinging to me and just sobbing. After googling and looking all over the internet, I’m pretty sure her issue is low blood sugar. She’s usually a great eater, but when in that state of h’anger, refuses everything.  My solution is, I’ve been putting her from nap, straight in her high chair with several good food options, a cup of chocolate almond cashew milk... ( and a Daniel Tiger on her Kindle) and then ignoring her the best I can. She’s starting to get it and is crying a lot less.  As soon as she starts eating/drinking, she calms down. I think a lot of her other tantrums are also related to being hungry and h’angry, so I’m trying to feed her good quality snacks and meals, often. My guess is it’s a combination of their state of development, understanding their free will, frustration of not being able to fully communicate what they want or mean, and then this crazy amount of growing and energy spent that makes them incredibly hungry.  Fun times 😋

Yes!  It’s not all the time but usually when it happens I have no idea what it’s over.  I’ve started ignoring her when she does it.  I tell her to come join me when she’s done
