33 week preemies?

Are there any babies born at 33 weeks that didn’t need the NICU? But if so, for how long??? What did your baby weigh???

My son was born at 33 weeks, he was 5 pounds exactly. He had to stay in the NICU for 10 days.

I had two premies, my daughter at 33 weeks was 4 lbs 9oz she did need NICU time she needed to learn how to eat and breath at the same time, they don’t developed that skill till after 34 weeks. She was only there for 3 weeks though. My son was born at 32 weeks and he had a longer stint of 7 weeks in NICU he had digestive issues due to him being allergic to cows milk protein. Both were premature due to high blood pressure on my part. But most babies at 33 weeks would need NICU time just some more than others.
