I went to the dentist today because one of my teeth has been pretty sensitive and achey. Turns out a filling I got when I was a kid fell out and to repair it they’ll need to do a root canal and put a crown on costing about $370. I told my husband and he flipped. Said things like my “broken” teeth, my “rotting” teeth. Told me I should have taken preventative measures. That he’s never had a cavity. That I should feel SHAME that I “let it get so bad”. Basically talking to me like a child, making me feel like garbage because of dental care and the cost. It made me feel so ugly and embarrassed. Is this normal or I don’t know, does this happen to anyone else?? Is my husband just shitty and emotionally/verbally abusive??
