When your going to go take the glucose test would you recommend going fastening?

I was told to fast from 10pm the night before the test was at 9am, I passed

I was told no fast but watch my sugar and carb intake at breakfast. So I think I'm having bacon and eggs.

I never got told anything. My appointment was in the morning and I'm not a huge breakfast eater so I had just had a muffin with butter and some water beforehand. I passed the 1hr test. I'm going to ask when it's time for me to do it with this pregnancy to see what they actually want me to do. I honestly didn't even realize until that morning when my sister mentioned it.

If it’s the one hour my dr said you don’t have to fast. If it’s the 2 or 3 hour you do though.

Far as I know you’re supposed to fast, because the whole point of the test is to gauge how your body reacts to the amount of sugar, the test won’t be accurate if there’s already food in your system
