1st baby during prenatal appointments?

Question

Hi all. For those of you with a young baby at home (not school age), what do you do with him/her during your prenatal visits? I’m a SAHM and I haven’t had my first visit yet (just got my BFP last night) so I don’t know if my clinic will allow me to bring my 1yo daughter to my appointments.

Maybe call the office and ask? I’m sure it’s fine to bring her, but every office is different

I take mine with me.

I take my daughter, I have no one to watch her at all. I take her in her stroller and bring snacks

I have a 3yo and 2yo that go with me to all my appts unless it's an ultrasound appt. Just put ur baby in the stroller and go

I take my daughter with me. I didn't take her to the anatomy scan appt tho

I take my 2 year old with me. I never asked and no one said anything 🤷 my midwife only is in the office in my town (10 minute drive) while my husband is working so I have to take her unless I want to drive 40 minutes to her other office.

I do work and my son goes to work with me (director of a daycare). So normally he goes to school while I go to my appointment, but if it happens to be on my day off, I will bring him with me and give him the iPad (that he very rarely gets). Keeps him busy.

They should be fine with her there just bring snacks and some toys for entertainment.

Mine is 17 months old, so I got a babysitter for my first appt.  Since I had an ultrasound and my husband was working I knew I wasn’t going to be able to keep him out of things.
