Clearblue advanced digital is confusing me
Hi guys
I have been using the Clearblue advanced digital ovulation tests. My cycle is usually 35 days long but i've been having a weird couple months.
In august my period was late and it was super heavy and lasted longer than my normal 7 days. I had been using Glow to track my periods and started testing with the ovulation kit around the fertility window the app predicted. Only i kept seeing lows (empty circles).
September rolls around and i get my period on cycle day 30. 5 days earlier than normal. I plug my new period information into the app for the month and it re-analyzed and predicted that for the month of august, i should've tested sooner than it had originally predicted, considering my period came early. I remembered during the reanalyzed fertility week that the app gave me, my CM was slippery. So my body was trying to give me signs but i was just going off of what the app was saying and missed having sex when i was actually ovulating. I started to monitor my CM after that.
My confusion is this. About two days ago i noticed my CM was sticky. The day after it turns to eggwhite and stetchy. I read tons about CM since my blunder last month and recognize this as signs of ovulation coming around. So i take my Clearblue test in the morning (like the box says) but they say low. Yesterday i took a test in the evening just because i keep reading that's when it's best to take ovulation tests and low and behold the test gives me a peak!
My concern is that the box says if i don't use my morning pee, the test might give "unexpected high fertility results". So does that mean i'm really not at peak and it just says peak because i didn't use my morning pee and it's an error?
My husband and i had sex anyway but i woke up in the middle of the night to go pee (it is now 3am) and took a test again (with a different holder) to see if that one will give me peak too but it gave me low. Can anyone help shed some light?
