I decided to write an unofficial complaint letter to the practice manager and I decided to print off a copy of my post and include it. I wrote the post hours after it all happened when all my emotions were raw. I wanted the practice manager to really understand how upset I’d been at the time. I hand delivered it to the surgery yesterday morning and today I received a phone call from him. He wanted me to know that he’s received the letter but he can’t actually speak to the doctor in question for a couple of weeks as she’s now on holiday. He sounded like he was taking it quite seriously and I have no reason to believe otherwise so I hope to get another phone call from him in the next couple of weeks. All I want is an apology really and I just hope I get one. I think it’s the least I deserve.
