I was induced at 37 +1 due to preeclampsia. The induction wasn't going well. I was still pregnant at 37 +3 and my preeclampsia was getting worse. I was started on magnesium and sent for a csection. My baby was born but I couldnt hold her due to the magnesium. I started bleeding out shortly after and was sent back to the OR. They tried to stop my uterus bleeding but in the end had to remove it completely to save my life. I lost a lot of blood and recieved and transfusion. I woke up the next morning with a tube down my throat not knowing what had happened. Once my tube was out my husband told me what had happened. I was moved back to the OB ward later that day. My baby has pneumonia and jaundice and is in the NICU. I am on blood pressure meds and on day 7 in the hospital. I am doing better. Still no release date is set for me and baby. She is my first and my last. I turned 25 on Tuesday whilst in the hospital.
