Okay so for about a month or so I’ve been experiencing symptoms of a yeast. My period came down and the itching stopped but eventually I still was getting thick discharge and little irritation. But what I came to realize is after me and my guy have sex it occurs again. I went saw a doctor and she said I didn’t have anything so I was kind of confused. Today I started thinking what if it was from using condoms because before him I never really used condoms. After I researched it, it showed condoms have spermicide in it that can cause yeast especially the ones we used.

But I don’t know how to approach the convo with him to switch or stop using condoms. We’ve only been dating for 3 months. It’s not that I’m scared to ask, we just never really have deep discussions yet. So how would I start this convo?

UPDATE:

So yesterday I bought Non-Lubricated Condoms and I’ve had no symptoms at all. Still giving it a day or to but I think it is the spermicide on the condoms. And I’ll still go see a doctor just to make sure. But it looks like I’ll have to get back on BC even though I hate it sm. My SO didn’t like the non-lub bc he said it was too dry.
