Memory care

Summer

I work in memory care and the love you have for the residents I imagine is the love you have for your children. You laugh, you cry, you do everything with them. You want to keep them safe, make them look their best, make them feel their best, and so much more. We have a resident that's leaving to go to the hospital tomorrow for reasons I cannot share, but potentially tonight could be the last night I see the resident. It's bittersweet. On one hand the resident was one of our more tough dementia residents but the resident also had good days and we have shared many special moments between us.

PS. As I could see people saying I'm violating HIPPA I'm not as you don't know what place I work at, not even what country or area, you don't know the residents name, age, gender, etc there's no identifying information Whatsoever I suppose you know they have dementia but I work in a memory care which anybody can know and we only work with dementia/Alzheimer's residents so that's a given.
