Any advice for a c-section?

Hi ladies, 
I’m a first time mom and my baby boy is still breech at 35+ weeks. Since breech runs in both my and my husbands family I have a feeling we’ll be scheduling a c-section in less than a month. 
I’m wondering if ladies who have previously had c-sections have any advice? Anything you’re willing to share would be very helpful. Thank you!

Get stuff cleaned up around the house, laundry done. Ur not gonna want to bend down and get it from the dryer. Get anti bacterial soap. Like the yellow dial. Ur gonna have to wash with it so u don't get an infection. Lose dresses and clothes were a life savor. Walk around as much as u can. I walked every hour for about 5 min first day then increased it as I needed if I felt up to it.

Stool softener is helpful so ask the hospital for some of the good stuff. I liked using depends diapers for postpartum bleeding and lots of loose nursing gowns. Walk around as much as possible afterwards. I liked sleeping with a backrest pillow for the first week after I got home because it kept me at a more comfortable angle, similar to the hospital bed. The backrest pillows are also convenient for nursing. The Halo bassinet was a lifesaver and definitely prep some freezer meals. I loved having comfort foods available during the day for lunch, such as soup, baked ziti, tuna casserole, shepherds pie, etc.

Buy some gas x for afterwards. Gas pains sucks and no one told me before i left the hospital that i would need them.
