Issue with Co-Ed baby showers?

Question

What is the issue with co-ed baby showers? I see a lot on here about men not being invited and I’m confused why not? Is it a personal preference of yours or is something you were taught? 
I’ve never in my life been to a baby shower that men weren’t welcome to so it’s confusing to me.
My first shower was co-ed & this one will be as well.

I think it's better for them to be co-ed it's alot more fun and it's funny watching the men play the games

Mine was coed and my fiancé actually REALLY wanted to be there. I think it’s weird when men claim they’re for women and don’t want to go lol

My baby shower was coed. My husband wanted and deserved to be there to celebrate our little one too!

I didn’t know there was such a thing as women only baby showers till I read some posts on here. Thats an odd thing to me but to each their own I guess. I hate being around women so I think I’d go crazy if only women attended. Most of my friends are men. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine was just ladies, my ail and best friends planned it for me. It worked out well because my husband didn't want to go 😒😂

Our family always have women only showers. It’s a chance for moms to talk about the dirty and hard side of pregnancy. Some woman are uncomfortable discussing those details with men, even relatives that have children. There’s always a lot of birth talk at our showers and the moms for sure know best.

Mine was co-ed and it worked out perfectly. Everyone hung out, ate food, played games then I opened my stuff at the end. It was very laid back and everything I hoped for since I’m a very anxious person being around a large group of people lol

I think its just traditional. And alot of guys dont care for it. My husband was at and threw my baby shower along w my mom a sil's he enjoyed it and there were other guys there but i think they were mainly there for food lol

Mine was co-ed. My father in law didn’t know people had co-ed baby showers. Lol I’ve never been to an all female one. It’s fun for the men to be involved.
