7 days late

I’m seven days late. I’ve been 3 days late before and that was only once years ago. I had a yeast infection, something I never get. I also had some cramping yesterday and the day before. Not my normal period cramping. It felt deeper and lower if that makes any sense. I’ve had some other symptoms but when I take a line test they all come out negative. Am I testing to soon? Should I get a digital test and try that ? Anyone else go through something similar?
