None of that matters. Rape is rape and you're the victim/survivor. Reporting it may stop him from hurting others and there's still time to report it... but you do what you need to cope and don't feel bad about it ♡

I say yes. I was raped and didn’t report it either and that person ended up doing it several more times until he drugged a girl and raped her and SHE reported it and I stood up and contacted the DA office and reported my time to back her up. I feel so very guilty and useless for not reporting it when it happened because I could have saved all those other girls from being raped themselves. I could have stopped him and I didn’t. Since then I will do anything I possibly can if it’s within my power to stop someone from harming another person. It’s my duty as a survivor I feel.

Everyone deals with being sexually assaulted differently it's not how everyone works to report it right away when I was I didn't report it and I haven't really told anyone except for Anyone who reads this but it's not making you a bad person for not telling anyone.

No. Trauma literally changes hoe your brain functions so you can survive. Some people cant talk about it immediately. Some can never talk at all. The choice of some shit bag makes him a bad person. The majority of rapes that are reported never even end in an arrest much less a courtroom. I hope that changes.

I was too and never reported it ... I wish I did but I didn’t want to go through hell and then try and call me a liar. The system can be messed up a lot.
