weight and ttc

Hi guys, I’m new to the chats, newlywed, and new to ttc in general. My husband and I have been talking a lot about having a baby soon and stopped using any protection (post ovulation for this cycle). I’ve been taking prenatals and omega 3 for about 6 months.

We worried a little that I might be underweight for conception/supporting a pregnancy. I’m active and have always been thin. I do always get regular periods. Typically I run almost every day but have scaled back to 20 minutes or less per day and am trying to do more yoga and less intense activity (yet I read it’s good to do aerobic activity when ttc)...

I eat more avocado, beans, lentils on a regular basis. It would not hurt for me to gain a bit of weight but I want to do it in a healthy way that allows me to stay active too. I would like to cut out my daily latte and sweets but I definitely don’t want to lose any weight.

Just curious if anyone is in a similar situation and how important you think it is on fertility and conception? I’m not sure how necessary it is to gain weight and if so, how to do it in a healthy way?
