I've only had 3 sexual partners in my life. My first love at, my friend (best bud) which was a mistake as he had a crush on me knowing I was still inlove with number one. Then I met my husband who was everything I never knew I always wanted. I'm 41 now, happy, regret nothing and married for almost 15 years. The other two ended on good terms though. And out of all of us, I'm the only one that actually moved on eventually. These were meaningful relationships and was hard to let go. But you've gotta do what you've do to be happy in the end.
