Face Moisturizer recs?

Question

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good everyday face moisturizer? I have combo skin and use witch hazel toner and CVS brand anti acne face lotion. I went to the mall today and one of the kiosk ladies (trying to sell a face mask of course) goes oh honey, your pores are huge! And the blackheads and age spots are really showing. 😫 So maybe it’s time for a new face routine 🤦🏻‍♀️

Cerave is what my dermatologist recommended. I always had really oily, acne-prone skin, and Cerave was a game changer!

Belif AquaBomb is AMAZING! The same brand also has a good option for oily skin, can remember the name off the top of my head.

For pores and blackheads I’d recommend using a peel off black charcoal mask a couple of times a week. You can buy it anywhere for relatively cheap, including Amazon. You also want to use a toner after washing your face and before using a serum or moisturizer. You can buy witch hazel for relatively cheap just about anywhere and it’s a great toner for killing bacteria and cleaning your pores. Right now I’m also loving the Amareta toner and the Whamisa organic flowers deep rich essence toner.
For brightening I recommend using an enzyme peel every once in a while in the shower (enzyme “peels” are basically a powder that lathers up when you mix it with water and it gently exfoliates), and my current favorite is Tatcha foaming enzyme powder. For brightening you can also add an ampoule in between a few of your morning routine steps. I am currently using Grow Vita Propolis Ampoule by leegeeham and so far I’m quite happy with it.
As far as a moisturizer I love Blithe Tundra Chaga Pressed Serum. It’s technically a serum, but it’s extremely moisturizing and plumping so you don’t really need anything else. It’s quite thick, so a little goes a long way, and it leaves your skin glowing😍. If you’re looking for even more moisture, the CUCU Black truffle cream by Yuri Pibu is pretty amazing and it’s a decent price around $38. I use the black truffle EYE cream, but prefer the Blithe serum for my face. I may switch to the black truffle face cream for winter, though, because I tend to get quite dry. Sometimes when I need an extra boost of moisture I use a watermelon glow sleeping mask by the brand Glow Recipe. It smells amazing and you wake up with extremely plump, dewy skin. Also, don’t forget to use sunblock on your face every day! I’ve been using my son’s sunblock lately on my face (Thinkbaby sunscreen), but any sunscreen that uses non-nano zinc oxide is your friend.
