Online dating

So I had the weirdest thing happen recently. I just moved to a small town and I went out to lunch and my waiter was pretty cute but I was in like gym clothes and hadn’t washed my hair so I didn’t even attempt to like make eye contact since I knew I was setting myself up for failure. Anyways right when I got home after lunch I opened Bumble( yes I have an account refrain from judgement). And low and behold the first guy who pops up is this waiter. So after consulting my wing woman/best friend I decide to swipe right and funny enough despite what I thought was going to happen he also had swiped right and we matched. So on bumble the female has to initiate conversation so I said hi...and he never responded! So after spending waayyy too much time thinking about this I have determined a few reasons as to why this happened. 1. He in fact noticed my haggard appearance and since he would have had to have swiped right on me prior to meeting me since I opened the app right after I left the restaurant he didnt like what he saw in reality and in theory regretted it. 2. Like I said small town, he did notice me and was so thrown and kind of embarrassed that he didn’t want to keep in contact with me since we would then officially run in the same circle and it would just be weird. Or 3. (Which I’m sure is probably the right answer but bear with me) he’s a normal apathetic young guy and just swiped right and didn’t in fact notice me in the restaurant and didn’t care to talk to me since he swiped right on every girl he sees or he accidentally did it or swiped thinking I was never going to do the same.this whole crazy story also reaffirms the fact that although I participate in online dating it stress me the freak out.
