Milk for May babies?

Hi, my baby girl is 16 months and she currently takes 2 bottles in a day. One late morning and one at bedtime. I’ve cut out the daytime one past 2 days but I’ve been reading they should have milk still first thing in the morning. What’s everyone else doing? Thanks 😊

I nursed my son, and after he was weaned he refused to drink anything but breastmilk. After using up the freezer stash he still refused all varieties of milk. Our doctor said it’s not a big deal that he doesn’t drink milk as long as he is getting dairy from somewhere. My boy loves yogurt and the doctor said that’s a perfectly fine substitute.

She drinks about 16oz of milk from a sippy cup at daycare. On the weekends I give her some in a sippy cup after breakfast & periodically throughout the day. She nurses as well

I give my daughter 6oz in the morning after wake up/with breakfast, 4oz with lunch, and 6oz with dinner/before bed. I’d like to only give her milk twice a day but she’s slow with drinking it.

I’m still breastfeeding, but I also offer her milk in a sippy cup at meals. Maybe give milk in a cup of some sort instead of a bottle?

Our daughter self-weened at 13mo. She’s almost 18mo and we offer a sippy with whole milk with every meal. She usually drinks about 12-16oz a day. And she has a sippy of water available at any time during the day. She loves water and milk so she doesn’t drink any juice, which I’m pretty thrilled about!

My son self weaned from the breast at 14 months. Since then he has no interest in milk, he will take it if I give it to him. So maybe he has a cup of milk once a week or sometimes twice.

I give 6 oz at breakfast and 6 oz before bed bc he likes it. That’s it. My son is a solid eater so I’m not worried about him being malnourished.

Once I cut out bottles he became less interested in drinking milk as a “it’s time for bed” habit. Now I give him some with breakfast in a sippy cup and with dinner. He probably drinks 8oz total but I also send cheese and yogurt to day care with him.

Just use a sippy cup instead of a bottle. My son still has milk with breakfast and milk right before bed but we do not offer any bottles anymore. All drinks including his milk are offer with a sippy cup.
