Mini stroke?

Question

Anyone have experience with this or a loved one that has gone through this?
It happened to my dad today. They are hoping for a full recovery and he is doing great, but it still scared all of us and we still feel worried. Tonight he is being closely monitored but if nothing goes wrong he goes home tomorrow. 
Just want to hear more experiences..❤️

As long as there is medical professionals involved and he follows their advise then he should do well. My MIL had mini strokes but didn’t know that’s what they were (she wasn’t one to go to the doctor for anything). Well she went on a cross country motorcycle run and apparently had something like 20+ mini strokes and I think 1 big stroke all while riding. Even if she wasn’t on the bike it would not have been good but she was and crashed and almost didn’t make it. If she had been looked at for those times she “didn’t feel right” and they diagnosed her strokes, she might have been put on meds and avoided the rest of the story. Just keep doctors involved.

My dad had one a few years ago. Very scary. 
But he’s perfectly fine now. Just had to take it easy for a while afterwards. He’s back to running his business, playing golf etc.

My mother and father in-law have both had mini strokes they both made full recoveries. Changed diet and are more healthy and haven’t had anymore trouble
