Silent fan suggestions?

So my husband has to sleep in absolute silence. A party could be going on outside our window and I'd sleep through it. However, I need to be a comfortable temperature, and with the hormones and pregnancy pillow, I'm overheating at night a lot. Sometimes my husband can sleep with the ceiling fan on, but a lot of times it clicks as it goes around. So he'll turn it off after I go to sleep, which means I wake up about 2 hours in, drenched in sweat. I turn the fan back on, but he's awake and flipping it off again within 20 minutes every time. We rent, so replacing the fan is not an option and our rental office won't send maintence out to fix something like that (it's not a great place).

Does anyone know of any very very quiet or silent fans on the market that you'd recommend? Ideally, we'll use it as well to create air flow in the bedroom after baby arrives too since the ceiling fan won't work properly. I'm desperate at this point for us to both get better sleep.
