Was my waitress wrong?

Question

So we went out to chili’s and our hot wings came out cold. Not like room temp but legit still cold in the middle. 
NOW.. I have a colicky 6 week daughter at home and I’m starting to have ppd. My mom drove an hour a half to take her for the weekend so I could get some sleep. 
By this time in the day I had spent all day with my baby trying to get her to calm down until my mom came and I helped her get the car seat in etc and then they left. 
My husband just got home from work and he wanted to take me to dinner so I got dressed and we left. This was the first meal I had eaten ALL DAY. Because I was so busy and stressed. Note also that this is the first time my husband and I had gone out to eat in 6 weeks. So I was really looking forward to it. 
Anyways back to chili’s. They are cold. I’m starving so I still eat a few because the food there always takes forever to come out. The waitress comes back over and I tell her they are cold and she scoffs and puts her hands on her hips and then says “yeah well.. you already ate like all of them so they must not have been that bad. What do you want me to do about it now?” I was shocked. Like... wow!
So I asked to talk to her manager and politely explained they were cold. I didn’t say anything about her rude behavior because I was still stunned and didn’t want to complain and get my food spit in or something. I tried not to let it ruin the rest of my dinner. The manager was nice and brought me fresh wings. But it bothered me all night after that. Am I over reacting? It was she out of line?

She shouldn’t have been so rude when you said something but I mean you did say yourself you are a good amount of them 🤷‍♀️

If they were cold I would have immediately flagged down the server . They can go get you different wings or a new dish entirely. While there’s no excuse for bad behavior, I would have said something sooner. And if you’re going to complain to a manager, I definitely would have mentioned her rudeness to them. They need to know so they can correct it.

She should have been rude BUT you also shouldn’t have eaten them if you were going to complain. I absolutely HATE customers that come in, use all of the product/eat the food/ take the service and then complain and want it to be fixed. Like it obviously wasn’t that bad if you continued to do it before complaining 🤷🏼‍♀️

Her behavior was probably not the best but it is a rule in restaurants that if you eat it, it must have not been that bad. Just relax though, it's not a big deal. Go home and get some rest!

She shouldnt have been so rude but she was right, if they were bad enough to complain you shouldnt have ate them. She wasnt too know you hadnt eaten all day.

If they were cold then don’t eat them. The waitress didn’t need to give you that kind of attitude but still, if they were cold then you should’ve called someone over once you got the wings. I’ve gone out for dinner, being my first meal all day, and sent something back because it wasn’t right. 
I went to Ruby Tuesday’s with my ex fiancé and I ordered a veggie burger (i’m a vegetarian), waited literally an hour for our food and I was starving because I hadn’t ate all day and this was 8pm. Anyway, the veggie burger is cold and the cheese isn’t melted. I told the waitress right away. I’m not eating something that is cold, especially if I did eat meat. Meat isn’t okay to eat cold and not cooked fully.

I would have complained about how rude she was and gave her a small tip. People go for good food and good customer service. You would of been doing them a favor by letting them know so it wouldnt happen to any other customers.
