How do you find the balance? My daughters father and I have been broken up for months now...

we have a 18 month old together and we broke up bc of his cheating (giving me an STD). He never helped out with my daughter, sent money for daycare, nothing... after asking him to help out as best he could, he still never did anything. Finally, I filed for child support and he’s pissed as if it’s not his responsibility.

This was his first weekend to have our daughter and he doesn’t pick up when I just want to tell her good morning. It’s annoying bc I’m just being a mom... and if he actually checked on her while I have her I wouldn’t do that to him.

How do y’all find common ground when it comes to coparenting?
