So long story short, I have a 16 month old with stranger anxiety as soon as grandparent or any family member come over or we go over he gets extremely attached. It started at about 11-12 months it hasn’t gotten any better or worse. We normally have a big family dinner on weekends so he’s use to seeing everyone since he was born. Not sure how to help. He normally sees someone and begins to cry and wants me to hold him almost the entire time and refuses to be put down. Both his dad and I work but we have our schedules adjusted so one of us is always home with the kids. I never had this problem with my 3 year old just need some advise or tips that have worked for you!
