My son has been hospitalized for pneumonia the past week (been battling it now for 2 weeks). We was sent home with antibiotics to give him for 7 days. We thought it was 5ml & we’ve been giving him 5ml for 3 days now. I just looked closer at the bottle & it says 1.5ml. We’ve been giving him way more then he actually needs! I’m freaking out. I gave him 1.5ml tonight after I noticed the mistake, but now I’m scared it’s going to give him a set back since he probably won’t have enough for the whole 7 days now. Does anyone know if this will actually effect him?! I plan on calling his pediatrician first thing in the morning, but I need some info on this now!
