Hi i don't belong in this group yet probably but thought you might be able to help better then my due date group. I am 31 weeks pregnant so not nursing yet but plan to. My milk started coming in a week ago and since then i developed a painful puss filled cyst just under the skin on my areola. it came to a head and i am able to get a little puss out of it. i read it could be a milk blister caused my a blocked milk duct. i am thinking this is not good luck just starting to produce milk. so i wondered if anyone experienced this during pregnancy and if it affected their long term milk production? Also any tips on how to treat it and prevent it from happening again would be appreciated. thank you.
