Why cramping sensation

I’m in CD 24.. AF typically comes in CD 30. What’s with the cramping? Wondering what goes on in there at this point in the cycle? I’m in my 3rd round of 100mg clomid days 3-7. Thanks for any input! ALSO wish me luck, i get my progesterone levels back today!
