Where do I start....

For one thing I must say in advance my labour was an amazing experience and by reading others and my girlfriends telling me theirs I am eternally great full as it was my first! 💗

My beautiful baby girl was due the 12august , at 7 weeks I had bleeding and thought I was loosing my angel but thankfully everything was fine ,

28weeks I was admitted into hospital again for bleeding and decreased movements , but my beautiful angel was a fighter and a few days latter I was home .

I then decided to finish work as it was the best for me and her . So now you know a little on my pregnancy ...

I had a routine appointment with my mw at 40+3 that afternoon I felt slight contractions and had a feeling something was happening so my mw offered to do an exam to see what was happening and she told me I was 2cm and to expect to go into labour over the next 48h . I was supper exited ..... i

So I go home and try everything possible to bring labour on quicker !

I walked about 3miles nearly killed me !!! 🙈

And ate the best pizza with fresh pineapple 👍🏻😋

Bounced my fat ass on my ball for hours !!!

My contractions where getting closer and stronger and before I knew it they where close enough to head to the hospital me and my parter where soo exited !!!

So I arrived at hospital around 2am and that’s where I was told I was still only 2cm I was devastated

So we had to leave .....:

I got home and was soooooo uncomfortable and tiered! I couldn’t sleep, mean while my so was out for count I was pissed as hell 🙈

Between the pain and plots to smother so I must have fell asleep as I woke to massive contraction followed my my waters 💧 or possibly I peed ! I had no idea which , so I woke him up and said it was time to head back in !!

I arrived on ward Around 9am and was shown to my own room where I was examined by the mw and again I was just over 3cm .... I wanted to cry!!!

She then asked me to stay near and try to go for breakfast and have a walk and return in an hour , she then left the room there was no chance I was going anywhere !!!

I was pretty uncomfortable and the contractions felt soooo strong I finally agreed to walk around the room 🙈😂 and that’s when my second waters broke ... yes! I was going no where after that .

I was told by the mw she would examine me at 12.30 , but by 11 am they where soo strong and she couldn’t feel them as I was posterior she decided to examine me then and she told me I was 6.5cm

I was sweating like a pig!!!

She offered me gas and air but I had no idea what I was doing so decided to use it as a chew toy instead ....

By 1pm the contractions where intense I wasn’t sure how much more I could take naturally! But I stuck to my plan and refused all medical interventions .

The pressure was so intense I told the mw I needed to push soon and that the baby was coming , she insured me that I had hours to go yet and that I was no where near pushing! But my body was doing it wether she or I wanted it too ... so she decided to take a look

She then changed her mind as she could see baby crowning so I continued to do what my body wanted and 24min I of pushing 10 pushes my beautiful 7pound baby girl was born !

By 6.30 pm my family was completely at home and it was perfect!!!
