I had a successful VBAC in June and it was awesome! I only pushed for like 10 minutes and she was out. I got to reach down and feel her head when she was crowning, I got to have immediate skin to skin and breastfeeding, and do delayed cord clamping. It was everything I wanted the first time and didn't get. I did have a 2nd degree tear, but it didn't really bother me. The recovery was night and day from my c-section. So much easier!

I had a vbac 18 months after my c-section. Natural unmedicated birth, 22 hours. Back labor. I screamed and yelled almost the entire time. The back pain was so bad the contractions in front seemed like nothing. I kept thinking it would be less painful if they would just cut me open and get the baby. I was traumatized afterwards. But we got the most amazing calm and beautiful girl. So thankful.

Following too! I’m planning to have a VBAC in early December 😁I had a friend who just had one in August and she said the recovery was sooo much better... and she had a tear and pushed for several hours. She still said she’d choose vaginal any day.
