When did you know?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for a little over a year now. I’m 21 and I’m still a virgin but I’ve been feeling like he’s the one I want to take that step with. How did you guys know when you were ready?

I don't think you can be 100% prepared but take it step by step till your at least ready

I don't think it ever a 100%, I met my one and only bf when I was 14 and I just knew that we were meant for each other, as cheesy as that sounds, every single person in my life said that I was too young to love someone, that I shouldn't be so trusting of boys, that it wasn't going to last so there was no point. 
We moved in together when I was 16 and he was 19 and have been living together since. I can truthfully say I wouldn't be here without him, and I'm glad I trusted my gut when I met him.
