So I live 13 hours away from my husbands family. They didn’t all live there when we first got together but they do now. His parents always have though. They (his mom and his sister) decided they wanted to come to the baby shower my mom is planning. And that they wanted to stay with us. I don’t really want them to because our apartment is really small but whatever. They haven’t really said when they were coming so I texted them this morning and said on the 8th my husband will be on duty (military) so they wouldn’t even see him if they came then. I said come on the 9th. Baby shower is the 10th. But his mom said they’re going to drive on the 8th straight through. And I’m sure they’re not going to leave early because his sister is fucking horrible to wake up. Which I guess means I have to stay up until forever waiting on them to get here and then hang out with them after which I definitely don’t want to do. I already told my husband when the baby comes in December they aren’t staying with us cause having a newborn and family that aggravates everyone is not going to work. There’s a lot of reasons why they’re aggravating and controlling and hard to deal with but this is already too long. I guess it really doesn’t matter that much, I just need to vent 😅🤬
