if you have been or are insecure, does your boyfriend help your confidence level if so how? my boyfriend gets frustrated with me and doesn’t really help so i need opinions...

I'm extremely self-conscious. I hate everything about myself- my face, my body, everything inside and out.
My husband does get a little frustrated with it. I don't like compliments or gratitude because they make me uncomfortable and I think the other person is lying. That's the part he gets frustrated with.
He tries to build me up to the best of his ability- he tells me every day that I look pretty, he tells me every day what a good mom I am, and what a good cook I am. He thanks me every day for cooking and cleaning. He's a good man and I most certainly do not deserve him.

These comments are nuts... 
My partner helps me all the time, he'll randomly even say I'm pretty or look good. It makes me awkward cause I don't think of myself highly so I just shrug it off and it doesn't bother him at all. I can out on short and back out and wear pants cause I over think and he just gives me reassurance that I look good in anything and let's me wear what I want. He's not pushy, doesn't mind whenever I ignore compliments and he legit tickles me until I say I'm pretty.
We've been together for almost 5 years and it's always been this way, he's never snapped on me once about me being insecure. 
Honestly it has helped me. Sure, I'm still not perfect and fall into old habits of hiding away, but I do feel more confident and do alot more then I use to.

I really self confident with my self an I’ve told my boyfriend all the time but everytime I see him an everyday he’s either telling me how beautiful I am, or he tells me out of the blue “you know your so beautiful” he even text me every day telling me that I’m beautiful an he’s see me at my worst with no makeup on an hair messy he’s seen me pig out an ugly cry really bad an still manages to tell me I’m beautiful in all those situations. Don’t settle for less you deserve someone that is going to value you! Cause your beautiful

I sincerely think the long term solution is to work on this issue from within. It’s nice when your SO can make you feel good of course! But long term, it’s something to work on within yourself, perhaps through therapy or finding a blogger/author who tackles these issues :) your SO should definitely support you but you need to find multiple methods, especially if he gets frustrated

Youre feelings are your responsibility, not his. You need to fix your issues yourself, he cant do it for you.
