We had our first ultrasound yesterday, beautiful little baby, farther along than everyone thought. 10 weeks, 4 days today. The doc said there is fluid behind the neck that could go down but it is also a sign of deformities, down syndrome, heart defects etc. I had a blood test done yesterday, I have to wait 7-10 days for results and in two weeks I'm going back to have another ultrasound to check the fluid. I've read some good news stories and some not so good, but I need more support, prayers and good stories. How good are the chances the fluid will go down, they didn't give me the measurements of how much and everything else looks healthy, good heartbeat, baby was moving. I'm 28 years old with my second. Any good news and prayers are welcome.
