Has anyone experienced gender disappointment? Just found out I’m having my third boy? I’m very upset

I’m having my third girl after ten years. 
No disappointment here... I’m blessed I even have the ability and privilege to bear children

I just found out I’m having a boy. I really wanted a girl but it’s my first baby after two miscarriages so I really am trying not to be too disappointed. I think we all have a preference and when we don’t get that we get upset. I’m trying to just be as happy and excited as possible!

Yes same here, it made me feel so guilty for feeling that way but I couldnt hwlp it. I thought for sure we were having a boy but we are having our third girl. I'm over it now and I'm just grateful that I was able to get pregnant again and carry another healthy to term.

I have two girls and am pregnant with my third and last. I also have a step daughter. So yeah I’m kinda hoping for a boy.... I’m not finding out the gender until he/she is here so I won’t feel this disappointment at all. I’m not going to care about the gender once that baby is in my arms and I’m snuggling them. 😍

I had slight gender disappointment. This will be our last baby due to health reasons so we were hoping for a girl this time around. It didnt last long,  just being able to have my baby makes me feel so blessed and excited. I know my husband still feels it here and there, mostly because his sister had a girl that she gave up. we would have adopted her in a heartbeat, but finances were tight after just buying a house. Hes still excited though, keeps rearranging the house like he is the one nesting 🤦‍♀️

My mother had 4 girls after wanting boys, wanted another girl and she got a boy and another unexpected boy right after

I got what I wanted with my first pregnancy. Hopefully I’ll have my boy this time around, but if not I think I’ll accept it. I won’t lie, there may be some disappointment though lol.

I have 3 boys and it’s great. They are such good friends. I’m pregnant again and everyone says I bet you hope it’s a girl. While it would be nice to have a girl—I’ll be just as happy if it’s another baby boy!

I was VERY upset when I found out we are having a boy. I have a 2 year old step son so I felt like that was enough and I REALLY wanted a girl. It didn’t take long for me to get over it. Now at 31 weeks I could not imagine having a girl. My step son points at my belly and says sissy all the time and I honestly get worried he will come out a girl 😂 I seriously couldn’t imagine myself with a girl now and am so happy to be having my son.
