Diva cup and iud?

This might be a stupid question but it’s okay to use a menstrual cup with an iud right? Can the suction affect the placement of the iud at all?

My gynecologist said it was fine to use. I personally don’t think using the cup the first month is the best (if this is your first IUD) just because you’re not used to the strings. But once you know where they usually sit and what everything normally feels like it should be fine.

The auction when trying to take out the diva cup can snag the strings and pull the IUD out. I wouldnt use it together.

I use mine together it’s great! I have been using mine cup with my iud for 6-7 months now and haven’t had any problems. Doctor said it would be fine as well. Just be sure to break the seal properly 😊
