Ear repierced while pregnant?

I feel kinda silly even asking this but my fiancé just bought be such amazing earrings but my holes have closed over for a little while now and I’m 12 weeks pregnant. Is it okay to re pierce them or just wait the next 6 months 😭

No reputable piercer will pierce you while pregnant.

It might be best to wait till baby is born. Getting a piercing can carry a small risk of infection.

I got two cartilage piercings done while pregnant and I was fine. Make sure to go to a piercing parlor. They will use a sterile needle instead of a gun which causes more trauma to the area and can’t be cleaned properly.

I think you would find it hard to find someone who would pierce you whilst pregnant as I don't think they do it due to chance of infection ect...

Where I live, it's against regulations to pierce a pregnant woman due to health risks.  Everywhere is different, but I personally would not do it.
