HELP. PPH and then normal delivery?

Hi All.

I gave birth to my first baby, a little girl in summer 2017. I had a severe PPH when my uterus didn't contract down and I bled out. I lost around 3L of blood.

My husband is very keen for another baby, I am not against the idea however I think I would be more for it If I didn't have the PPH with our daughter.

I am terrified of that happening again, I genuinely thought that I was going to die.. it effected me in a big way and for a long time after I used to get bad nightmares. I still feel really sad looking back.

Has anyone had a PPH in their delivery, and then gone on to have more children without a PPH? What type of things can the Drs do to prevent it happening again, or at least try to prevent it?
