Did you have wedding registry?

I made a wedding registry with Walmart. I figured just to try it! We have a great point on gifts and they're not crazy. 
How did yours turn out, any issues, do you have buy the unbought items? I want to know your experiences. 
We're getting married on December 17! I don't think anyone is going to buy off of it because I don't have any friends. But my fiancé has a big family, that's why we did it. 
Just wondering how yours turned out!

If you’re having a bridal shower then definitely do a registry. That is when people usually bring actual gifts. However if you aren’t having a shower, I wouldn’t bother registering. Most of the time people just give cash or checks at weddings, not actual gifts

We didnt do a registry and we mostly got money which was great, we got to use some for things we needed and used some for the honeymoon

I only got like 2-3 things from my registry. I wasn’t even going to make one but people were bugging me for one, then didn’t buy anything off it.... lol. And no, it wasn’t full of expensive things. The most expensive thing was a pot and pans set for like $150.

Use Zola! No obligations no nothing!! And you can link items from any website to it so you’re not committed to one store. You can even do honeymoon items (example: someone bought us a cooking class in Italy where we were staying).
