What method of birth control do you use and how old were you when you started birth control and why?

Started the pill to regulate periods at 14 🙄 .. 15 started nexplanon , threw my body completely off for the whole duration ! Worst decision ever . just got off in August. Im 20 now .

I started on the pill when I was 15 or 16 years old due to pain. I've been through a handful of different ones throughout the years, but I've been on the pill more or less since then and until right before my 28th birthday.

I took a pill at 18 and i had sever mood swings like rage fits then crying in a heap on the floor. I tried it bc I wanted to regulate my period. 
18-20ish I used condoms when having sex after not taking the pill bc of the side effects. 
20ish I got the mirena IUD was okay but cramping was a huge problem. I was having so much pain I couldn’t do anything and the DRs told me it was in place so I shouldn’t be in pain yet I was. So I had it removed last month and pain was gone immediately. 
(22, 23 nov 1) Now me and my husband are ttc.
