Newborn Pumpkin Patch?

I had my baby on the 15th, I have a 10yr old and a family tradition of going to the pumpkin patch with the whole family.  We are planning on going next weekend the 28th & I plan on wearing her so she is not exposed to the air or any germs.. my husband thinks it is too soon.  I just want to feel normal and spend some quality time with my family outside of the house, am I crazy?

Defo not crazy hun.. I’ve taken my boys out the house when they was a week old and I could walk around properly (I had c-sections).. they been perfectly fine, babies need fresh air can’t stay in forever. 😊

My son and I went everywhere! As long as it wasn’t too windy/hot/cold, he was out and about with me. We didn’t let people touch on him, and still don’t at 4 months.

We took our son to the apple orchard at 4wks. I wore him and it was so nice to get out and about! Nobody could touch him and I could make sure he was comfortable. I'd rather be outside somewhere than a mall or something like that!

I didn’t bring my daughter out “just because” that early but I know many people who did because they had no choice. Although baby wearing doesn’t keep him unexposed to the air and germs.
