Answer please

So when I’m with my SO he always rubs and holds my stomach but I’m not pregnant nor do I ask him to do it. What would be his reasoning? And no I don’t have a problem with him doing it I love him holding and rubbing me but lately it’s been my stomach. Just wondering what you guys think
